Just a few days before the launch of Mothership Zeta, Bethesda decided to whet our appetites with a shiney new trailer and a team diary by Lead Artist Istvan Pely.
I haven’t even gotten around to finishing Broken Steel or exploring Point Lookout – but based on the following video, I just might have to skip ahead. Hit the jump for the retro alien goodness.
From Lead Artist Istvan Pely’s team diary:
“...this spacecraft, advanced or not, is lying smashed in a ditch just northeast of nowhere. And the story might have ended here, if not for the faint garbled radio transmission your Pip-Boy picks up from the UFO’s distress beacon. If your primitive bit of technology can detect the beacon, there’s little doubt that “others” are listening as well.“
Mothership Zeta hits Xbox Live and Games for Windows Live on Monday, August 3rd.

Dang, with all this Fallout 3 DLC someone could write an award winning novella or diary by detailing their daily events within the game . It’s amazing how deep this game goes.
Bethesda has officially announced this will be the last Fallout 3 DLC pack.
I can’t wait for this, it’s going to be great.
Pretty intrigued for this, only DLC I have tried is Point Lookout, and really want to get my hands on more.
You can live out all your backlot hick fantasies with Point Lookout, and now, you can also shout “maw! I done got probed agin!”
Bethesda=geniuses.
