The Grand National is the premier event of the jump racing season each year which is why it means so much for the top jockey’s to have a victory on their records. One jockey that certainly comes to mind is the incredible A.P McCoy who finally added a victory back in 2010 when he guided the Jonjo O’Neill trained Don’t Push it to victory off a weight of 11 stone 5lb. This meant so much to him and his legacy that follows as possibly the greatest rider in the history of the sport.
You would think he is one of the most successful jockey’s in Grand National history however this is not the case! Check out the infographic below which shows you just who they are. You can bet Grand National now with the Willie Mullins trained Total Recall currently heading the betting at 10/1. His current market rival is the Nigel Twiston Davies trained Blaklion who is the 12/1 second favourite. He looked the likely winner in the 2017 renewal before being committed to early but is likely to go close again this year.
