Well, up until now, I had not even heard of Merchants of Brooklyn, so I checked out the latest gameplay video from CES, and as I said, it looks interesting to say the least. Over on their official website, you can read more about this FPS from Paleo Entertainment, and did I mention it is powered by the Crytek Engine? That is the very same engine that powered the PC hit, Crysis, which I must say, has broken barriers when it came to graphics in videogames.

Bioshock, released over a year ago for the Xbox 360, has since then been applauded for its dark tenor and terrifying gameplay. Now, with the rather recent Playstation 3 port, we’re ready to give the final word on this widely acclaimed first person shooter. But is this port the frighteningly good game we’ve all come to love, or will it be shocking a disappointment? (pun intended)

So February can’t get here fast enough, and as soon as it gets here it needs to end. Why? So I can get my hands on my eagerly anticipated copy. From the beta to media footage, everything about this game looks amazing. Boasting some of the most amazing graphics and utilizing an interesting online mode of compilation matches, this will surely be in your PS3′s disc drive for months to come.

Deciding which plastic instruments deserve that place in your living room? Think Rock Band is too much of a party game? Are you really into old rock and metal? Then Guitar Hero: World Tour (GH:WT) might be the game for you. With classics like Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train” and The Eagles’ ”Hotel California” to new stuff like “Scream Aim Fire” by Bullet For My Valentine and “What I’ve Done” by Linkin Park the game has a decent variety of music to jam to.

If you buy the “complete band game” you get one guitar, drum set, and mic to play with. All the instruments are well built and fun to play and they all work for Rock Band as well. The instruments in the package are great but the game…not so much.

So those of you PS3 owners who bought Socom Confrontation on release and never played it again, get ready! The 1.30 patch is out and ready for install. Coming in at 526 mb it will take a few minutes, but if it delivers on its many promises this patch could bring Socom Confrontation back to the for front of gaming.

An interesting patent has just been unearthed by some gaming enthusiasts, the patent was filled on March 10, 2006 and it shows pretty clearly what we now know as the ‘Wii Remote’, and it being used an accessory for the GameCube with a Wavebird-esque type adapter to use it with. There’s a lot of jargon in the patent but the images seem to be the more interesting part, check them out below.
