The Tomb Raider series is one that has always been of shifting views. It has gone from good to bad to terrible and back to good again. Unfortunately I haven’t been there for any of this. Tomb Raider Underworld was my first Tomb Raider game. I am not sure whether that is a good thing or not; either way I hoped for the best when I jumped head first into Lara Croft’s newest adventure.

When the first Trauma Center, Under the Knife, was released for the Nintendo DS all those years ago, it was a cult hit: removing tumors with the stylus was an amazing experience that anyone without a weak stomach could get into. Ok, so has your wife or mom ever complained about your gaming mess? Yelled at your for having the controller on the coffee table? Well Target might just have the answer to your problems. Phantasy Star Online is and always will have a special place in my heart. I am not sure how long I played Phantasy Star on the Gamecube, all I know is that I loved every second of it and spent many hours spent killing monsters and gathering loot.
I longed for a sequel to the game that reinvigorated my love for RPGs. Unfortunately a sequel did release, but in the form of Phantasy Star Universe. While Universe was not a bad game and did improve upon the lackluster campaign and story of Online, it did not seem to recapture the magic that permeated throughout Online. So I have waited patiently for the game that could give me that Phantasy Star Online feel.
