With many other gaming sites just covering a few games for each platform, it’s hard to tell what is really coming out in 2009. 2009 is a rather odd year for exclusives, as the Playstation 3 and 360 are sharing a lot of big titles. No one could have ever guessed that a Nintendo 64 game would have made its way to a Microsoft Console. A very lucrative move by Rare, Banjo Kazooie launches itself onto the Xbox Live Arcade. Never heard of this title, or even the company? Well, you’ve probably heard of their most successful game: GoldenEye. Disgaea 3 is a charming game from a company called Nippon Ichi Software (NIS). NIS is known the world over for creating memorable, quirky characters and hilarious dialogue. Disgaea 3 is preceded by Disgaea 1 and 2 for the Playstation 2 console, and heralded much earlier by classic Strategy Role Playing Games (SRPG) such as Front Mission and Final Fantasy Tactics. If you have never played a Strategy RPG before, the concept is rather simple: think of it as an advanced game of Chess.
