In what is likely to be part of Nintendo’s E3 Press Conference, Red Steel 2 details are slowly leaking out to the public. Everything we’ve heard around here makes the game sound absolutely delicious, but will Ubisoft deliver? Let’s hope Nintendo partners close with their new WiiMotionPlus partner and pulls out an excellent shoot ‘n slash experience. According to these details from German magazine “N-Zone”, things are going the right way.
We’ve been reporting on the status on 3D Realms, and their latest creation, Duke Nukem Forever, during the past week, and it looks like the final word is “3D Realms is now closed”. But what does this spell for the fate of Duke Nukem Forever? Will it be taken up by someone else, or just lie in wait for another 10 years, so we can be strung-along through picture sets every year or so?

Woo! There are games this week. Right? Yeaaah. So anyway, I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus from the website due to the job that pays more money than the lucrative gaming journalism job. In the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly, Idea Factory has revealed Trinity Universe, a crossover RPG, will be coming exclusivity to the PlayStation 3. It will feature characters from Nippon Ichi’s Disgaea and Gust’s Atelier, all presented in 3D. For the first time, you’ll see Etna and the prinnies as non-sprite characters.

Stalin vs. Martians is a zany in your face real time strategy (RTS) that leaves players wondering what the intentions of this game are about. Developers BWF, Dreamlore and N-Game have combined their efforts in an attempt to bring the fast-paced and over the top antics of the arcade to the sophistication and in depth play of the RTS genre. Although this game is wacky and very over-the-top, many players will be left with a sense of confusion and loss.

Sonic The Hedgehog is known by nearly every gamer, some know the current hedgehog; a sorry excuse for a character, constantly appearing in games that struggle to be a mediocre experience. However many remember the spiky blue speedster in his prime, back in the days when SEGA was equal with Nintendo.
