Kotaku has reported that the Latest issue of Famitsu that the PSP will be getting the latest rendition of Game Art’s Classic RPG, Lunar: The Silver Star.  Originally released for the Sega CD, the first Lunar (and its sequel) have seen remakes on the Sega Saturn, Playstation One, and an interesting Game Boy Advance version.

Last week we reported Rise from Persona 4 will be getting a figure release. At the time, the figure wasn’t available for per-order. While I was browsing on some PVC websites this morning, I saw some of them including ToysLogic and Hobby Search were already taking pre-orders.

If you’ve ever read our review, listened to LimitCast or seen our impressions for the last batch of DLC, you’ll know that we here at Gamer Limit I am in love with Killzone 2. I’m sure many others are, it’s just they don’t voice it quite as strongly as I. How one would not enjoy this game is beyond me.

Anyway, it all looks set to get even better rather soon, with Guerrilla Games being rather sure of themselves with regards to the next batch of downloadable content that is currently being worked on.

The games industry is constantly shifting and evolving, lessons being learned in every corner. From developers to publishers to press to gamers, we’re all figuring ways to push this fledgling medium to greater heights. Sometimes it can be difficult to own up to your mistakes, to hold your hands up and admit that things could be or could have been done better.

DICE, the company responsible for the Battlefield series, however, seem to have no shame in talking about past errors, particularly when it comes to Battlefield: Bad Company. Probably their biggest release from the franchise was met with mixed feelings across the board. Creative director Lars Gustavsson has a few ideas why.

One thing that got me interested in Atlus’ latest SRPG title, Knights in the Nightware, was the pre-order bonus. The art reminded me of Eternal Poison, but I was skeptical about the battle mechanics. Luckily, a demo for the game is now available on the Wii’s Nintendo Channel.

September 4, 2009 is the day Hollywood and video games will redeem themselves on the big screen.   Based on the trailer alone, the new film, Gamer, will figuratively make you blow chunks in your pants.  Look out fanboys and critics alike because the future of video games and Hollywood cinema just found the power up and won the game.

In the past we’ve been shunned and beaten with some horrible video game cinema, and we’ve also been blessed with some gems like Wargames, Grandma’s Boy and Tron.  These films did not focus on one particular game, but they were a generalized view of the affective potential video games will have on our culture no matter what the age.  Based on the premise, Gamer does just that.
