  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Something they should teach you in algebra

My life suddenly has meaning. I will tell my grandchildren of this historic revelation.
Oh, and Mark. Snorlax is the best Pokemon ever, don’t get it twisted.

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post How To Get Your Girlfriend Into Video Games

    Great article, absolutely hilarious!
The only game my girlfriend enjoys at length is, you may have guessed it, Tetris. I’ve been thinking about trying some more puzzle games, like Dr. Mario or Bejeweled, because I know a lot of people like that genre, but she seems only interested in playing the one game. Hell, [...]

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Activision seeks “broader audience” by refocusing rhythm game strategy

I think this is great news. Making less over the same amount of time leaves more time to tweak what needs to be fixed, and just create an overall better game. I think this is a great decision on Activision’s part, and hopefully the quality of these games mirrors the time spent on [...]

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Things don’t look good for Final Fantasy VII PS3 remake

I would be nowhere near surprised if Square ended up creating this supposed remake, however, I honestly feel as though it’s not completely necessary. The original was absolutely great, and I’m content remembering that as it was. Sure, there is always room for improvement, but what if they actually put their efforts toward [...]

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Did you SEE this Dante’s Inferno Super Bowl commercial?

Great commercial, I’ve been at least partially interested in this game since I first heard about it. I most likely won’t pick it up, but that commercial was pretty freaking epic, and I stopped talking for a moment to take in the moment, just to see if this is something that should be on [...]

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Editorial: Motion Controls and Enhancing Narrative

I love the fact that motion controls can really immerse you in a game in such a way. I’ve thought many games on the Wii to be rather gimmicky and based around the controls, but from what you’ve said, the controls can obviously be used in an incredibly effective manner.
I’m going to consider picking [...]

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Gamer Limit Review: EyePet

Good review, it really does look like it would be fun for a little bit, but grate on the nerves after a short time. I’m wondering how long you took attempting to kill this thing. I know I would have tried everything I could think of, for kicks.
Some of it does look cool, [...]

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Natal and iPhones being made in same factory. Also, LOOK! A Natal prototype

I agree with Shawn, that’s definitely not pleasing to the eye. I’m sure they’ll pretty up the final product, though.
As for Pegatron Technology creating both Natal and the iPhone, all I can say is they must be damn good at what they do to grab both Apple and Microsoft.

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Splinter Cell: Conviction release date is permanent… probably

I hope this release date holds up, I want to pick this game up whenever I possibly can. And honestly, if it was etched in stone like that, and it didn’t hold up, I’d find it incredibly comical.

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Retro Reunion: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Ad

Oh man, that’s just plain good advertising. I must admit I laughed pretty hard at the prospect of cutting up my veggies with Sonic 2.

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Sega back in the home console market… sort of

Well, I was very excited clicking on this article, but I have to say that I’m not completely thrilled at this. I might pick it up anyways, but I guess I really shouldn’t have thought about hoping for more.

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode 1 coming to PS3, 360 and Wii this summer

Oh man, I’m so excited if they actually follow through. The idea that it’s only episode one worried me, as well. But all I can really do is hope for the best, and that Sega actually knows what they’re doing. Not much I can do to ensure it, otherwise.

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post “Hedgehog Day” yields new info on Project Needlemouse

I’m excited to learn more about this game, definitely…concept art is great, but I feel like I want to know more. They probably are trying to stretch it out some more, just to increase the anticipation for it.
Hopefully it lives up to it…and I’ll definitely be looking for the announcement Thursday.

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Bioshock 2 Special Edition unboxing video is comedic genius

I loved Bioshock, and I have to say that some of those extra goodies look pretty damn good. However, money is a big issue for me, so I’ll be lucky if I can even big up the game itself, let alone any special edition.
Might not be as good as the first one, but being [...]

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post PSPgo in need of rehaul

I feel like the PspGo is a good idea to some extent. But you’ve all pointed out the huge issues it has, that are really forcing it to fail. I actually considered picking on up at some point, but once I heard about all of the problems brought up here, I was turned [...]

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Limitcast Episode 31 – The Good News First

From everything you’re saying of Mass Effect 2, I’m looking to pick this up the first chance I get. Along with that, I’ll be carefully watching Mag. It looks as though it could be promising…but it could also fail, as you suggested. Thanks for the comments, really helps me think about exactly [...]

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Used game trade-in kiosk maker e-Play suspends operations

I feel as though you’re completely right regarding this issue. I’m not very up on the number of sales and whatnot, but those who get the money should be those who develop and produce the game. Those who sell used games aren’t putting nearly as much work in, they’re exploiting the hard work [...]

  • Edward Reeseg wrote a new blog post: 87 MPH – Almost There

It seems as though many gamers of this generation have little to no knowledge of games of the past.  Unfortunately, I consider myself to be a member of this unenlightened group.  Whether it’s Mario or Mega Man, I cannot trace my roots back to the Nintendo Entertainment System and beyond as many others may be [...]

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post Highly anticipated third title from The Behemoth revealed

That trailer just got me pumped for this game. My friends and I have spent hours playing Castle Crashers together, and though I never got into Alien Hominid, it looks like this is going to be another one of those games.
I hope things turn out well, but as of now, my expectations are very [...]

  • Edward Reeseg commented on the blog post SEGA poses challenge for info on Project Needlemouse

Oh, if only I could draw to save my life, I would participate in a heartbeat. Sega’s always been very close to my heart, considering the Genesis was the first system I owned and Sonic the first game I played.
I’m excited to see how Sega will handle these expectations, and I’ll definitely [...]
