So I REALLY want to get this game (No way, a PS3-exclusive RPG?! That, plus Untold Legends, brings the total up to 2!), but I gotta ask... what's up the the PS2-era graphics? Seriously, it looks like Final Fantasy XII.



I mean, look at the ground texture! Look at the lack of detail in the hair! Look at... the camera angles! The cutscenes! Everything, really. Oblivion had a massive world that still had the tiny details, even though some of the character models were less than pretty. But this... I dunno. For all the waiting, I was expecting something, ummmm, next-gen?

Nick, it is a massive game that was released back in 2008... which means it probably was developed in PS3 infancy.

Kevin's dead on. This game has been out for 2 years in japan and they already are working on a sequel. The westernization has just taken for-freakin--ever.

Hopefully the gameplay will be good enough to make up for the lacking graphics. I'd gladly play a badass PS2 game than a shitty, yet highdef PS3 game.

The wing flapping is bad, but nothing, and I mean NOTHING, will ever be cheesier and fake sounding then Lightnings gun firing in the FFXIII International trailer. To quote Nick, "Pew Pew!"
