Hot on the release of Gran Turismo 5, Forza Motorsport 4 has been announced in a new debut trailer from VGA 2010.

Details are scarce at the moment other than the fact it will launch in “Fall 2011″.

Note to Polyphony: it’s taken six years for Turn 10 to churn out four Forza Motorsports compared to five Gran Turiusmos in 14 years.

It’s looking like 2011 will be the centre of the big three for Sony, as Resistance 3 joins Killzone 3 and Uncharted 3 in next year’s first party line-up.

We’ve known about Resistance 3 for some time now, but VGA 2010 produced not only the very first gameplay footage in a debut trailer, but also confirmed that the Chimera’s next attack is scheduled for September 6th 2011.

It’s been three years now since Resistance 2, and the original was an important launch title for the PlayStation 3 – is it just me who misses this franchise?

As promised earlier this week, the VGA 2010 saw the premiere of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, showing the full version of the teaser trailer.

The trailer also revealed the release date will be November 1st 2011. And before you ask: yes that is indeed actual gameplay footage near the end. Excited yet?

Early Friday morning, GameTrailers revealed the world premier trailer of Telltale Games’ long awaited episodic adventure, Back To The Future The Game. Back in June, Telltale released a teaser announcing the project along with a Jurrasic Park title. For six months, fans have been on pins and needles — and for anyone (including myself) following the hype, this particular trailer was supposed to be epic. Telltale themselves said, “it looks fantastic!”

All subjectivity aside, there can be an argument as to why the trailer fails or succeeds in delivering 1.21 jiggawatts of excitement. It lends itself perfectly to this next installment on what it takes to hype up a game right, or wrong. A bit of fair warning, this article bears potentially gruesome videos after the jump.  We’ll let you decide why they’re both gruesome.

Developer People Can Fly just released a new Bulletstorm trailer today. If you’re like me, you clicked on right away to watch the gory goodness. From the sights and sounds, it seems the game will live up to its promise of being jam packed with colorful language and massively entertaining shooter action–even if it is only remotely close to the trailer.

You want more? Of course you want more.

The latest trailer for EA’s upcoming DLC expansion Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam not only contains high-octane gameplay footage of the game in action, but also reveals the pricing details.

According to the trailer, Vietnam will retail for $14.99 /1200 MS Points, which doesn’t sound too dissimilar to last year’s Battlefield: 1943. In a similar vein, the DLC will include four new maps along with four new vehicles and 15 weapons that compliment the new era.

A precise release date has yet to be disclosed however, as the trailer still points to a winter 2010 date for deployment.

A new trailer has been released for the Criterion’s forthcoming Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, once again highlighting the range of ludicrously powered supercars and the equally preposterously police cars that will be available.

The trailer also provides a further glimpse into the long-winding tracks from the past and the new Autolog feature for online play that allows you to connect to others and display your friend’s stats.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit is slated for release November 16th in North America and November 19th in European territories.

NamcoBandai has just released the latest trailer for their upcoming hack and slash title Knights Contract. Expect lots of man on wolfman violence to ensue, with the ocassional magical incantation or two. Overall, the motion capture work is incredible, and I’m really interested to see some gameplay, given how much effort they put into the above video.

The visceral medieval feel of the game actually reminds me more of Berserk than Dragon Age, but this is a video game website after all, so don’t expect a huge rant!

As if we didn’t already know from the multitude of hints that have prevailed over the last year, Resistance 3 is coming. Today, however, saw the official confirmation from Insomniac along with an intriguing live action teaser trailer. I think it’s rather delicious myself, but you can judge it for yourself in the video posted above.

No further details were announced other than the fact it will launch next year and, judging from the logo, will see the Chimera turn their attentions onto New York just in time to coincide with Crysis 2.

Sony simply can’t get enough of flaunting Killzone 3. True to form, Gamescom has brought us yet another trailer of the 3D brethren, this time offering the first look at some multiplayer action.

And in case you were wondering, yes the jet pack seen in the initial trailers will be making an appearance. As will the almighty Exoskeletons from Killzone 2, it so happens. I would call that a result.

Fresh from Sony’s press conference at Gamescom comes a brand new trailer for Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet 2, which contains a glimpse at some new creation tools including some fancy music and cut scene editors. Not to mention the fact that the music used throughout the trailer is ridiculously soothing.

Sackboy is once again set to melt the hardened hearts of gamers November 12th in Europe and November 16th in the US.
