By: | April 21st, 2009

The Tekken fighting franchise can be considered one of the best, it’s up there with the likes of Street Fighter and Guilty Gear, although it’s always been in 3D. Tekken 6, a game already out in the arcades, is set to be unleashed on home consoles later this year. Recently a new trailer has emerged, and it’s here to ask you one question; What do you fight for? Feel free to kick back and watch a new trailer for Atlus’ upcoming DS RPG Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier.

Atlus really is pulling out all the stops in today’s economy. With more DS titles set to release than you can count, all with extra bonus material (part of their new “spoils” campaign), there’s bound to be something you like this year in the mix.

Final Fantasy Agito XIII Trailer
By: | April 16th, 2009

IGN has released the new trailer for Final Fantasy Agito XIII (the PSP edition of the XIII trilogy) from the Final Fantasy XIII demo. It seems that the main characters of this game are the guardians of the crystal that explodes at the beginning of the video, but its not apparent how this game will tie into the others (XIII and Versus XIII).  The combat looks to be a hybrid of Final Fantasy XII‘s combat and Star Ocean‘s, and the gameplay footage shows that the PSP’s graphical abilities are being pushed to the brink.  Lets hope they bring it to Europe and America…soon! Hit the jump to check it out! Read more… »

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is gradually becoming one of the most highly-anticipated games of the year. A couple of weeks back we showed you a developer diary from Activision, which detailed much of the game’s precisely tuned and gorgeous looking combat. But if that wasn’t enough to convince you that this game could well be more than just a lazy movie cash tie-in, then maybe this behind-the-scenes look into Wolverine’s background and… well, it has Gambit in it, so hit the jump and watch it.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII is a little less known than the main FF XIII, simply because we’ve been told extremely little about it. What we do know is that it’ll have a new battle system and will be PS3 exclusive. A brand new trailer for the game has been revealed at the end of the new Final Fantasy XIII demo, only released in Japan at the moment. Hit the jump to check it out. Read more… »

Square-Enix have recently published the debut trailer for their upcoming Wii game, Full Metal Alchemist: Prince of the Dawn. It’s looking pretty smashing, so sit back and enjoy the video! Read more… »

It’s been since TGS 2008 when we last saw a trailer for Platinum Games’ action title Bayonetta, but the wait for a new trailer is now over. This new trailer shows us some insane gameplay footage including a few boss battles and Bayonetta turning herself into a panther. The new trailer also gives us a little taste on the plot where Bayonetta seems to be suffering from amnesia.

Hit the jump to watch the new trailer for Bayonetta.

Bioshock. One of the best games of this generation captivated gamers around the world with its twists and turns as well as atmosphere so tense that every footstep of a Big Daddy sent chills down our spines. The world premiere of Bioshock 2 on Gametrailers TV shows that 2K hasn’t lost their touch.

Be wary there may be some Bioshock spoilers after the jump.

Capcom gearing up for the epic release of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite have released a public service announcement, detailing how ‘awesome’ the game is in Japan.

ffdisThe Final Fantasy: Dissidia trailer is out. Why you need a trailer for a fighting game that is already out in Japan is very unclear to me. Either way if you need something to tide you over until the game releases in the US this summer or September for Europe, just watch this to your hearts content.

Wolverine is a pretty tough guy. That’s the main message Activision want to get across in a developer diary just released for their upcoming title  X-Men Origins: Wolverine… and they’ve succeeded. Nothing in this clip suggests that a one-on-one with the wild-haired, enviable side-burned one would end in anything other than brutal death. But at least it’d look good.

The opening section of this video shows off some rather impressive rendering of our overly aggressive yet somehow loveable rogue, while other highlights include sections regarding Wolverine’s healing abilities and his “lunge” manoeuvre. Hit the jump for the clip…

PlayStation 3 owners keen to get their hands on a shiny, sharp blade and make like Zorro can have their apetites momentarily quashed by getting their teeth into this debut Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 trailer. Team Ninja’s re-working of the Xbox 360′s Ninja Gaiden 2 is due for release later this year.
