After getting tease after tease of Raskull’s pictures, we finally get a trailer for the game. Even though it’s not in-game footage, at least it’s something! Hit the jump for a video of the almighty ruler of the Raskulls himself, “The King”.
From Tokyo Game Show in 2007 until now, White Knight Chronicles has been a small blip on the radar of all the major games being released. As Level 5 has talked more about the game, interest levels have increased. Today, they released a trailer that highlights a bit of the storyline for this new, unique RPG experience.
Just last week the entire world was gripped by a short video showing a woman doing lots of running and jumping - from building to street, rooftop to helicopter. Millions of comments and messages flooded the internet, many of which claiming that the clip had to be taken from none other than Beyond Good & Evil 2.
Thankfully, following in the footsteps of other great British investigators such as Sherlock Holmes, Taggart and The Sun newspaper, journalist Jim Sterling took a closer look at the footage and has since urged everybody to stop what they are doing and just watch it again. We’ve been reporting on the status on 3D Realms, and their latest creation, Duke Nukem Forever, during the past week, and it looks like the final word is “3D Realms is now closed”. But what does this spell for the fate of Duke Nukem Forever? Will it be taken up by someone else, or just lie in wait for another 10 years, so we can be strung-along through picture sets every year or so?

SRPG enthusiasts, get ready to “conquer the world of level grinding!” NIS America has announced yesterday at the NIS America event that Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days will be coming to the PSP this fall. The PSP version of the PlayStation 2 game Disgaea 2 will include a new side story starting Axel and battle features from Disgaea 3.
I love playing SRPGs on handhelds, so this is a must buy for me considering how awesome the original was. I wonder if Disgaea 3 will also come to the PSP like its predecessors. Hit the jump for the official English trailer and press release.
Sony is in the process of launching a new service that will allow PlayStation 3 owners to stream an endless amount of music videos for free. The utility, known as VidZone, will appear within the system’s XMB menu this summer and is set to apparently include thousands of products. Hit the jump for more information and a trailer.
Rockstar Games have released a rather cinematic trailer for their upcoming PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 title, Red Dead Redemption. Typical of Rockstar’s knack for building a sense of drama and intrigue within their teasers – Grand Theft Auto IV being a prime example – this clip showcases gunfights from both train carriages and horseback, grand theft horse and cart and family life on the prairie. Meanwhile, it’s all pulled together with some stellar voiceover work from our Clint Eastwood-esque protagonist, who appears to be named Mr. Marshall.

It’s gory, it’s violent, it’s…a fairy tale!? PlayLogic gives us their best B.B. Hood impression for this teaser trailer. It looks like it’s going to be a bloody good time, because according to the game’s description, “many different weapons lay strewn throughout the fairytale kingdom, which players can use to slice and dice their way through swathes of cute fluffy bunnies and imposing enemies.”

Twisted Pixel, creators of the short but sweet The Maw, are unleashing a new game featuring feverish destruction. In place of ingestion, combustion is the main method of mayhem this time around. The crispy character in ‘Splosion Man is a gangly, naked, flaming beacon of explosions. To understand the concept of this pyro platformer, you really need hit the jump and watch the trailer.
Namco Bandai has released footage for their recently announced PSP exclusive Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny. The trailer, which won’t take up much of your time at all, displays some rather stunning visuals indeed.

After the critical reception that Red Steel received as a launch title for the Wii, I believe that there are going to be a lot of skeptics for Red Steel 2. This first trailer, just released by Ubisoft does show off a beautiful graphical style…and perhaps with MotionPlus, Red Steel 2 will be able to surpass our wildest dreams. What do you think?
