Every year around this time we begin to speculate on who we thought “won” E3 2009. It’s not Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft this year. It all comes down to one man, who showed off the most new surprised in comparison to anyone else. At the Konami press conference Kojima-san revealed yet another major title: Castlevania: Lord of Shadows.

The latest trailer does have a bit of low resolution, but it is absolutely georgous none the less. You’re back controlling the whip of a man torn due to the loss of his wife. With great voice acting by well-known talent, Lord of Shadows cannot come fast enough.



Yesterday at Sony’s E3 conference, a brand new trailer for Final Fantasy XIII was shown. It gives us an insight on the plot and shows off some gameplay. Also, it looks like a new party member is revealed. The trailer confirms a 2010 North American release.

During their press conference earlier today, Sony unveiled some gameplay footage for Assassin’s Creed 2, a game that is being approached with caution following the original’s shortcomings. Hit the jump to see how far the series has come, other than Renaissance Italy!

Ready to enter the world of demons and darkness? Atlus has released a new E3 trailer for the upcoming action RPG, Demon’s Souls. The trailer shows a couple of cinematic and battles, even one against a giant knight. Along with the trailer, the official American website for Demon’s Souls has gone live. We rated the import version highly, so you may want to check it out.

The Saboteur, set in World War II has just released a new trailer for E3. What’s surprising is how well done and interesting it makes the game seem. Even in an era which we are all too familiar with. Hit he jump for the not-so-teasing goodness.



Sega has published a new Pre-E3 trailer for their upcoming action game, Bayonetta. This latest trailer features some insane boss battles and reveals a little bit of the plot. Who knew Bayonetta had a daughter?

Let me just get this out of the way now: one of us here at GamerLimit is a major Marvel fanboy. He owns figurines, owns all of the DVDs, and has seen almost every Marvel motion picture at a midnight release. There is no reason for him not to be excited about Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.

In this second installment civil war has broken out among the heroes and villains of the Marvel universe. Iron Man and Captain America fighting? Dead Pool and Juggernaut working together? Sounds interesting…
