Don’t panic! It is not December, you haven’t fallen into a coma and woken up on Boxing Day; much loved plasticine duo Wallace and Gromit now appear in video game form. Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Adventures will be digitally distributed over four episodes: Fright of the Bumblebees, The Last Resort, Muzzled and The Bogey Man. These will see the madcap inventor and his intelligent, trusty dog get into comedy scrapes across a variety of settings. The first installment tested here deals with the dark issue of steroid and growth hormone use in farming…..bee farming.

The MMORPG world is a volatile beast. With dozens of MMOs released each year, gamers are forced to wade through the not – so – good games to the true gems hidden in the mire. There is a mysterious force only known as T-Energy that supplies the magic throughout all of Arcania. Originally this power was only controlled by the Seraphim, but they allowed the High Elves access to this great, mysterious power. A problem arose though, as two factions of High Elves began warring with each other for ultimate control of the T-Energy. Now a war wages throughout all of Arcania, and you must decide if you will walk the path of light to save this world, or if you’ll walk the path of darkness and destruction. This begins the story of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel.

Who was excited for Alan Wake way back in 2005, when it was first announced? This news writer admits that he’d never heard of it until 2007…after which he’d never heard of it again. Still, the strange thriller about a journalist who kills monsters with flashlights sounded pretty intense.

Still, the game’s future looked grim after a while, having been announced in 2005, but still not having been released. Thankfully, things are looking up for Mr. Wake; developed Remedy Games has just made an announcement that signifies good tidings for Alan.
