Gamer Limit Banner

What will they think of next? A researcher and World of Warcraft fan at the Massachusetts University of Technology (MIT) has designed and created a pod that allows players to literally play their favourite game for extended periods of time without so much as leaving their seat. Hit the jump for more details and images.

Many of you, being gamers, have probably heard of the Angry Video Game Nerd, the Nostalgia Critic, and The Spoony Experiment. All of these guys, in their own right, are extremely popular, and for good reason – their video reviews and vBlogs are fantastic. Not only do they manage to create enormous amount of content to quench the neverending thirst of their rabit viewers, they keep it on the quality side too.

Ever wondered if they all ended up in the same room?

Hey guys, I’m Geoff Mendicino. You might see me on Xbox Live giving players the encouragement they need to win the game! I’m a big XBLA fan, you can see me on games from Street Fighter II: Turbo HD Remix to Scrabble. My first contribution is a video review of R-Type Dimensions for the XBLA. There’s more to come, so stay tuned! Read more… »

Floyd Mayweather

When a teenage schoolboy got his ass handed to him during a game of Fight Night against an anonymous online opponent, his response was to send a message simply asking: “Who do you think you are, Ricky Hatton?”. Close, but no cigar! The reply came back: “Actually, I’m Floyd Mayweather” – the only man to have knocked out Ricky Hatton, funnily enough.

Have no idea what the title means? Go play this game. That catchy tune at the end was written by a fellow named Reachground, and you can find his new video game related song after the jump! (This post is about the vidja games, I swear). Read more… »

Giant Lego DSi
By: | April 8th, 2009

For the latest marketing attempt by Nintendo they enlisted a Lego artist to make a life size DSi for display, the results? Something I must get.

From my random trolling over the internets today I stumbled across this awesome find, a Mega Man bead craft project.

It seems that the very well recieved PC RPG title “The Witcher” will be soon be appearing in handheld form. Developer CD Projekt RED sends a (pretty amusing) word that their planned spinoff, entitled “The Witcher: Mysterious Secrets”, will be coming to a current-gen, next-gen and gen-after-next-gen handheld systems.

Ok, so, it’s obviously an April Fools prank, but they’ve done a pretty good job creating an 8-bit version. Take a look after the jump.
