Well gamers it looks like there will not be too long to wait for the next FF, because Final Fantasy 13 will be out within a year! It has just been confirmed for a Spring 2010 release date. You ready for an awesome looking RPG experience? You better be!
Tony Hawk has just hit the stage to tell us all about Tony Hawk Ride, and that the board includes infared sensors and accelerometers. You’ll be able to grab the board with your hands, and experience almost life like skateboarding on the ‘ride’ board.

Warner Brothers Interactive officially announced what has been rumored for almost a year. Lego Harry Potter is in the works and will span the story of the first four films. You’ll have the ability to play as Harry, Ron, and Hermione and “attend classes, learn spells, mix potions, fly on broomsticks, and earn house points.”
Is it me, or would this be the first Lego game that would be worth adding a little bit of voice acting to?
Our correspondents are all stocked up with laptops, free wifi, mics, cameras and probably far too much red bull. They’re ready and rearing to hit the floor and start reporting about everyone and everything.
Our coverage of E3 2010 is our second trip, and also is the first appearance of RAW. What the hell is RAW? Well, basically, there’s going to be a hell of a lot of everything going on at E3. You know this, we know this. So our emphasis is not to gloss it all up with funny little pictures and witty banter, like we normally do.
RAW is just that – the Raw feed. What the editors normally take from our journalists to mould will, for the week of E3, be posted directly onto the site. Our guys will tweak it a little bit to make sure its legible, but other then that – it’s going to be an information overload.
Which is a good thing right? (The answer is yes.)
So the second we hear it, you’ll hear it. If we see it, you’ll see it. Expect instant Twitter updates on show room impressions, as well as full length previews, with exclusive pictures and video.
So in the next coming month, look forward to commentary on the whole expo – from the conferences, to the games, to the weird and strange events that seem to occur every year. There will be podcasts, vBlogs, interviews from the floor, and heaps more.
Square Enix has really been diversifying its lineup, seeking to become more than “the Final Fantasy people,” and their current E3 lineup helps prove that. Hidden in that press release is an announcement for what looks like a third-person brawler NIER, developed by Cavia, from whose loins also sprang the Xbox 360 title Bullet Witch and the PS2′s Drakengard.
By the looks of the trailer (which you can see by reading more or visiting the official site), it evokes more Drakengard than Bullet Witch. Channeling Drakengard may not be the best of ideas, but what little is shown of gameplay certainly looks more involved than that game. Dragon riding is yet to be confirmed. Read more… »
Final Fantasy’s father is seriously branching out. Although they’re still clinging to their beloved RPGs, their new business model looks appealing. We know Squenix can put out some amazing titles, so let’s hope they continue to.
Final Fantasy 13, and Dissidia top the list. Check it out after the break and tell us which ones you’re excited for!
Last night at the GameTrailers Pre-E3 show, the first gameplay footage of Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time was shown. The video shows Ratchet demonstrating his new hover boots and belching weapon. This is what I love about Ratchet & Clank series – all the crazy weapons they have.

Sega has published a new Pre-E3 trailer for their upcoming action game, Bayonetta. This latest trailer features some insane boss battles and reveals a little bit of the plot. Who knew Bayonetta had a daughter?

If you’re like us, you’ve been jealous of our Canadian brethren getting in on a beta before the rest of us. Well cool your heals, take a deep breath, and put down the knife: it’s coming to America.
On Monday, June 1st, the 1 vs. 100 beta will be opened to all United States residents with a gold Xbox Live subscription. No news on when the 1st season will begin, so let us all just enjoy the beta for now. Will you be the “one” or the “mob”? The obligatory Xbox Press Release comes after the jump.
Let me just get this out of the way now: one of us here at GamerLimit is a major Marvel fanboy. He owns figurines, owns all of the DVDs, and has seen almost every Marvel motion picture at a midnight release. There is no reason for him not to be excited about Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.
In this second installment civil war has broken out among the heroes and villains of the Marvel universe. Iron Man and Captain America fighting? Dead Pool and Juggernaut working together? Sounds interesting…
Perhaps due to their recent acquisition by Square Enix, Eidos just does not have a whole lot to offer at this time. The highly anticipated Batman Arkham Asylum will be there along with Just Cause 2 and Mini Ninjas! What, no Tomb Raider this year?
With all the hype surrounding the latest adventure of Bruce Wayne in a bat suit, I’m certain they’ll still have a great showing. Press Release after the break.
