The Xbox Live Arcade Awards are a really interesting way for gamers to connect with developers. They unveiled last year, with Bomberman Live taking home the crown for “best overall arcade game”. A new feature headlined this year is the ability to vote over your 360. It looks like this year is going to be a close one between Castle Crashers and Braid for the crown. No, it’s not through us, but if you go to Behemoth’s forums, all you have to do is post “Behemoth loves me!”, and they’ll send you a code for a free King DLC pack. Act fast; there are around 1,834 replies at the moment, and I’m not sure how many codes they have, but you might as well try! Go here now!

Atlus Online has just announced their newest project: a free to play MMO called Neo Steam. As you can clearly see, it’s based on the “steam-punk” sub-culture. Obviously trying to emulate WoW, with it’s features like “fantastic phoenix mounts” and the similar UI style, Neo Steam looks like it’s shaping up to be a well-done free MMO; something rare these days. If you like JRPGS, you might want to check out this free soundtrack to a non-existent game called Ebben Flow. The composer has been playing games since he was 4, and wanted to give a just tribute to his favorite JRPGS. Despite what some may think, this isn’t parody against “generic RPGS”, it’s a acknowledgement of how JRPGS have influenced the industry. Download it if you love brooding flamboyant heroes, rediculous fusion-weapons, and cryptic villains (note that description was pure FFVIII).
