I wish there were more to write about this, but the teaser site is so blunt, that I’ll just get right to the point. Capcom has put up a teaser site. The entirety of the teaser is showing the number “1650″, then crossing it out and showing the number “1573″ in bigger letters, which also float around mysteriously.

Those hoping to download and get stuck into the Lost Planet 2 demo that was rumored to be arriving around E3 time will be no doubt still feeling a little disappointed by its total no-show. If you are one of these people, Capcom could be about to try and ease your pain by finally releasing a demo that could include 4-player co-op. Or… could they?

Announced yesterday afternoon, Capcom’s Marvel vs Capcom 2 is being pushed back to the end of July this year. In what appeared to be a rumor circling around about a release date for June 29, a Twitter update cleared the air about the official release date for MvC2.

MvC2 is not actually coming out on June 29, sorry guys. Not sure where that rumor came from, but it’s going to be closer to the end of July.Read more… »

Capcom’s Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is rapidly approaching its glorious re-release on XBox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network. As they did before with Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo: HD Remix, Capcom is releasing episodic hype trailers.

The first one just came out today, so check it out! My only gripe is the lack of Joe Esposito which was tastefully incorporated into the STHD trailers. Video after the jump!

Now that Marvel vs Capcom 2 is officially coming to the Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network, what about the Wii? Samurai Showdown Anthology is great but it can’t compete with Street Fighter IV or the upcoming King of Fighters XII, so there isn’t much on the console to keep fighter loving Wii only owners happy.

Until Fall 2009 that is.

Nintendo Power stated that “it couldn’t be done,” but Tatsunoko vs Capcom is coming to North America. What’s more, strange control scheme aside, its the best fighter on the Wii. Read more… »

Yesterday, we informed you that Capcom’s Lost Planet 2 would be playable at next month’s GameOn! London expo. As it turns out, it looks as if E3 will be granted the same pleasure too. I say “pleasure” because, judging by the video after the jump, the game is looking rather special indeed.

If you’ve been following E3 news at all, you’ll know that Capcom announced two ‘mystery games’ along with their E3 game lineup. For better or worse, Mystery Game #1 had been accidentally revealed a bit early, as Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom.

Now, all we’re left with is Mystery Game #2. Capcom has recently been using their Twitter to drop neat pieces of small news, and even free download codes for iPhone games to anyone who cares to look. Recently, their tidbits of news have been revolving around Mystery Game #2.
