It looks like Microsoft’s year of exclusivity is running out on last year’s hot XBLA titles. Not only is Limbo preparing to make the jump to PlayStation Network, but Konami has Castlevania Harmony of Despair slated to release on Sony’s digital service later this summer. We enjoyed the game when it launched last year and now PlayStation 3 owners will be able to get in on the action.
Of course, Konami is offering buyers and incentive for consumers to purchase this version over the existing XBLA title. The PlayStation Network release of Harmony of Despair will include both free DLC and multiplayer. Players looking to game with friends should also be excited as the PSN release will feature an all-new four-player local co-op mode. Additionally, ”Beauty, Desire, Situation Dire” map pack that 360 users paid for will be included for free.
