While not an official announcement, Onechanbara 2 has found itself listed on British retailer Play.com for the Xbox 360, with a release window of February 2012. Currently, it remains to be seen whether this title will be a sequel to Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad or merely a rehash of the PlayStation 2 title of the same name. Personally, I hope it is a false listing.

As someone who had the misfortune of playing Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers for the Wii, I wouldn’t wish one of these games on anybody. Somehow Tamsoft and D3Publisher, time and again, manage to screw up the winning combination of zombies, swords, and girls in bikinis. Looks like another round of unfortunate individuals are in for disappointment. That, or there’s masochists out there that actually like this crap.

Cole Phelps is back with his first ever Arson desk DLC, and this one’s a doozy. Unlike most of your cases, which are a slow build, this one literally starts off with a bang.

In the cold dead of morning, the Nicholson Electroplating plant explodes in a thunderous eruption of twisted metal: and it’s up to you to find out what happened.

Survival horror FPS is one of the only genres left in gaming that isn’t over-saturated. While there are plenty of tactical and arena shooters, horror is a mostly overlooked genre, headlined by very few titles such as the Bioshock and S.T.A.L.K.E.R series. Thankfully, F.3.A.R., gimmicky title and all, is here to help add to the scarce collection of first person horror.

So is the genre’s latest worth checking out, or are you better off just watching your favorite scary movie and calling it a night? Read on to find out.

In the near future, Global Warming is causing natural disasters and widespread disease across the planet. After a comet hits nearby, you awaken to find the world you know has become infected by a mysterious virus that has sent the small town of Silver City into chaos.

As if government troops and horrific monsters weren’t enough to worry about, you soon realize you are among the infected. Your only chance of survival lies in a strange little girl and you’ll need to work together if you want to make it out of Silver City alive.

Sounds right up my alley. I’ll be looking forward to Amy‘s release on PSN later this summer. If you want to check Amy out, a video showcasing her impressively good looks awaits you after the break.

Microsoft Games Studios Corporate Vice President Phil Spencer told GameSpot: “As a first party we believe that Kinect will be important to all genres of games, be it racing games with Forza, combat games like Ryse, even games like Halo Anniversary has Kinect integration.”

It seems like Microsoft is following Nintendo’s lead again — inserting motion control into first party franchises that don’t really need it. While fans of the series probably would be happy with high-definition graphics, co-op, and Xbox Live support, it seems like Kinect will be an obligatory feature in first-party titles for the foreseeable future. Who’s up for Halo on-rails?

A large part of my childhood was spent in basements and libraries playing the collectable card game Magic: The Gathering with my brother and our friends. Sure it may have been a nerdy pastime, but I can honestly say some of my fondest memories are drawing the right card and just the right time to secure victory.

Thanks to Wizards of the Coast and Stainless Games, I can relive my former glory in the newly released Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012, a follow up to 2009′s Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers. Read more… »

Ever since its first trailer released several months ago, Dead Island has been one of my most anticipated upcoming games. The sheer irony of a lush island paradise marred by walking human decay carries a rare yet growing appeal. Now the game is almost upon us.

At E3, Gamer Limit spent some quality time with the title, along with representatives from Techland and Deep Silver. After about 40 minutes poring over the nooks and crannies of the fictional island of Banoi, I must say that no other game captures the elements of survival and fear quite like Dead Island. It’s enough to make this my E3 top pick.

American McGee’s Alice was one of the most celebrated PC titles of all time. Not only did it introduce mature subject matter in a world of mostly senseless shooters, but it also helped define atmospheric platformers for years to come.

Barring objections about the name, the Nintendo Wii U was received with great applause and excitement at this year’s E3. The first thing many people did when the doors opened to the West Hall was rush to Nintendo’s massive booth to get a glimpse of the hardware and its capabilities. And the lines never let up for the entire three days.

The reward for waiting more than an hour and a half in line was a chance to experience several demos: Shield Pose, an editable video of Link battling a ginormous spider, Battle Mii, Chase Mii, Super Mario Bros. Mii, that questionable video of the bird, and Ghost Recon Online. The prognosis – hopeful.
