Here’s the new trailer for Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. The trailer features Jill Valentine and Albert Wesker out in full force, battling several of the enemy types from Resident Evil 4. The game is looking absolutely fantastic, and its hard to believe something that pretty is coming out on a handheld.

Yet, I’m not entirely sold. Don’t get me wrong, the Mercenaries modes in Resident Evil 4 and 5 were a lot of fun. However, until now these bonuses have provided little more than a diversion to be offered alongside excellent standalone campaigns. Hopefully Capcom can fully flesh out the experience by the time the game joins the growing 3DS library.
