Hey, Nintendo fans! It’s Monday and that means new downloadable titles on a console near you. So, if you look forward to new digital releases every week, here they are. Luckily, most of the titles this week actually look pretty decent.
This week’s update has it all – puzzlers, shmups, RPGs…lawn darts. Okay, three out of four ain’t bad. Hit the jump for more on this week’s games.
In ZENONIA (800 DSi Points) you undertake the journey of boy-hero, Regret, and his mission to find the truth behind his father’s death at the hands of a demon. With plenty of classes, options, side quests, there is plenty of fun to be had in this classic action RPG. Sounds like a decent tite – hopefully you won’t…regret it.
In FIZZ (200 DSi Points) you earn points by creating rings of energy. To do that, you must align identical colors and create links between the different nodes. The bigger your rings, the more points you earn. Simple to understand but challenging to master, FIZZ is an inventive puzzle challenge that will have gamers on the edge of their seats…if they enjoy playing a less exciting version of Bejeweled.
Target Toss Pro: Lawn Darts (700 Wii Points) is a new video game based on some of the nation’s most infamous backyard games: Classic Lawn Darts, 501, Cricket and Poker Darts…and I couldn’t be less interested in it.
Astro Bugz Revenge (700 Wii Points) is an action-puzzle game with a definite retro shoot’em up vibe. In single player or co-op, protect the solar system from astro bugz by matching three or more bugz and blasting them to hell. If you have been looking for a game that combines the shmup action of Space Invaders with the puzzling of Snood, well then, look no further.
