As made public last week by Capcom the two largest fighting series are finally going to collide “sometime” in 2012 in the form of Street Fighter x Tekken.

Not much real hard information has been forthcoming since then but that’s hardly surprising if the game is still two years away.

What we have been treated to are a load of new shots from the game and it is looking seriously awesome.  Having never been much of a Street Fighter fan my loyalty lies with the Tekken franchise.  My initial concern is how the team would deal with the different art styles but a few moments with these screens has put my mind at ease.
