Not much is known about The Force Unleashed 2 at this point, except that it will allow players to continue the dark adventures of Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, Starkiller.  We at least now know when the game will be releasing, thanks to the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 Facebook page breaking the news today.

Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, Nintendo DS, and Wii owners can begin dual lightsaber wielding and force pushing themselves to glory on October 26th, 2010.  What and who they will be fighting is still unknown, but one can only imagine this series will continue to rip the fabric of the official Star Wars lore apart.  I expect that more information will be released as we get closer to E3, but until then, hit the jump to watch the first trailer for the game.

  1. I know I shouldn’t have enjoyed the first game (and it’s DLC) as much as I did, but it was so good. Can’t wait to get my hands on the sequel. Hopefully this time the force really is unleashed… and not just kinda unhinged.

  2. I was immensely disappointed by the first title for continuing the nonsensical tradition of video game light sabers that are as effective at dismembering enemies as a wooden stick.

    • Yeah… thats annoying. They should just throw enemies at ya like Dead Rising and have the lightsabers just obliterate them.

  3. I was quite disappointed with the first game. The difficulty was very fickle making it too hard or too easy for my tastes and I hated the level design along with the ragdoll psychics.

Hopefully they improve it around this time.
