The first reveal trailer for the hotly anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops is finally here after the all too fleeting teaser trailer from a few weeks ago.

Do you really need any more introduction than that? I think not – hit the jump to catch a more lengthy insight into Treyarch’s follow-up to World at War, due for release November 9th.

From the evidence seen here, the game will feature a hefty wealth of explosions, plot twists, snowy settings and husky Americans shouting at one another. Sounds like business as usual then.

  1. I have to admit that this is a pretty damn impressive trailer. Typically I’m not a big fan of Treyarch games, but I’m thinking of giving this one a try.

    • Agreed. As much as I tend to hate on Treyarch for screwing up the chronological order of the actual CoD series, this is very impressive. Now I’m just curious as to how online maps will be.

Yeah, and one of those easy ways is to go onto your favorite cotaenmmtor for Call of Duty titles. It’s still and easy, accessible source for CoD so your argument has no real meaning. I could easily go on CoD wiki, but? does it come with a back ground video for game play or talking? No, and thats why the people come to these videos, rather than reading, because they are lazy not just little butt-hurt children.

  3. Looks pretty good albeit a tad similar to MW2 – Treyarch have this overriding tendency to use the template/engine that Infinity Ward have created, so their games are always a little bit derivative in comparison. Here’s hoping that the game will offer something new…otherwise I might give this one a miss.

  4. I hated World at War, so hopefully this one is as impressive as the trailer makes it out to be.
