Brilliant news coming from Ubisoft Paris today, as the Ghost Recon series has a new title announced after a three year hiatus. While details are obviously thin at the moment, it seems as if Future Soldier is heading further down the road than Advanced Warfighter started down. This means more high-tech weaponry and a more linear single-player experience than the original series.
Also of note, is the fact that a multiplayer beta for the upcoming Ghost Recon title will be available to people purchasing the new Splinter Cell: Conviction title for the Xbox 360, which arrives in April. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is currently slated for a “Holiday 2010″ release, or in other words, Christmas. The full press release can be found after the break.
