We just caught wind that Gladiator A.D. got hit with a few changes. Now we learn that High Voltage Software’s other Wii baby The Grinder is no longer a Wii exclusive. The game will be coming to the PS3, 360, and PC in addition to the little white funbox.
More details on the new versions will drop during GDC. In the meantime, we have a new trailer for the current Wii build. I swear that the music in the video is straight out of a Harry Potter film.
Of course, developing for new platforms = delay. The game has been pushed back to Halloween 2011. Holy crap.
That’s good news: the online community on the 360 will inevitably thrive longer than just the Wii would have, which means more business for High Voltage. I think they learned their lesson from The Conduit.
They also gave us a figure for The Conduit’s sales: 350,000.
Game looks interesting, will definitely be keeping an eye out for developments on that one.
