I feel like it's shorter than the first game, but that's mostly because the first game was padded with lots of downtime and side-jobs. Desperate Struggle, on the other hand, is one of my favorite games ever now. Right from the stylish and familiar first battle it's had me on the edge of my seat. The only thing I have to complain about is the way the story keeps stealing your battles from you. You start at rank 51 and you're like "Fuck yes, 50 ranked battles?!" ...but then you keep having unexplained jumps through. (the most unforgivable being when *SPOILER* Henry, who we've just learned how to play as, goes on to kill three of Travis's opponents... in completely unplayable, off-camera fights.)

Playing this game was like getting hit by a train, a very loud, violent, sexy, funny, in your face kind of train. I wouldn't mind getting hit again by that train anyday.

I might go out and grab this sometime during the summer...which is definitely a while away, but unfortunately there's a Wii at home, and I haven't access to 150 bucks here at college.

Sounds like a game that could keep me occupied, and enjoying myself, for all of the time allotted. I'm actually pretty excited to see how great these mini-games are, along with all of the other triumphs you mentioned.

I still have this sitting, waiting to be played. Not sure when I'll have time for it, but it sounds like a lot of the stuff that I disliked about the first game is gone now.

@Chris
I LOVED Bug Out. It was so simple, yet so rewarding that I sunk probably 3 or 4 hours into so I could trick Travis out. They should put them all together and release it as a single game, with longer levels. Or put them on Wiiware. I'd download them all.

@Curtis
If you've got an extra 150 bucks lying around, you can get a used one. Its worth it, especially with this and MadWorld.

It's rare when the Wii makes a game that's appealing to a mature audience, but when it does, it makes me really wish I had one.

I want Bug Out for my phone so bad.

All in all, this game is amazing. It's an extremely fun beat 'em up/action game filled to the brim with character. Like you mentioned, it's a bit short, but I think I've played Bug Out for two hours.
