One big problem that both Xbox Live and PSN have is that they don’t share their release schedules for the majority of their online content. They just roll out new games and DLC at the drop of a hat, typically neglecting to inform the rest of the civilized gaming world that they’ve done so.
Major Nelson wants to start putting an end to that this year, as today he posted the Xbox Live Marketplace release schedule for the entire month of January. The list not only contains all the Arcade, Games on Demand, and Avatar Marketplace releases, it also includes the scheduled Deal of the Week. He hopes to post a new schedule on a bimonthly basis, but let’s see if he can keep up with this New Year’s resolution.

Is it sad that I’m very interested in the Darksiders Avatar outfits?
Hmmm. I wonder if the two Mass Effect DLCs can be combined with EAs special offer buy 3 get 800MS points back. Dragon Age DLC + 2 Mass Effect DLCs = 240MS points. That would be an amazing deal.
Oh cool, Vandal Hearts is FINALLY coming out. Sweet.
Downloadable Portal for 800 moon bucks? Hmmmmm. . . I may lose some of my pretend MS monies in January.
This couldn’t be better timing! I’m going to finish my playthrough of ME this weekend (hopefully), just in time for the discounted DLC, as terrible as it may be!
And Portal is just too damn good/cheap to pass up.
@Shawn
No, or at least I’d like to think no, because I’m totally buying them too.
Finally! It’s such a hassle having to wade through all the crap looking for new stuff.
My biggest complaint with xbla has finally been fixed!!! Vandal Hearts is definitely a buy for me and considering the Mass Effect DLC.
Grrr Rare… I was expecting Perfect Dark to hit the XBLA in December, seems like it’ll be up late February.
