According to The Wall Street Journal Report, Apple and Electronic Arts are working together to show off the gaming prowess of the new Apple Tablet.  Considering how EA’s Madden, FIFA, Tiger Woods, and Sims 3 games dominated the 2009 App sales, it’s almost natural that the brands will be working together.

Right now, no word is out yet about what games will be debuted with the Tablet, but one should expect the above mentioned properties to make an appearance sometime.  Look out PC gamers, the gaming market may be seeing a shift over the next few years.

Aside from EA, no other third party game developers have been mentioned in the report.  Since Apple is becoming an increasingly popular brand, do you think computer gaming will eventually favor Mac users, or do you think it’ll live and die by the PC market?  Leave your comments in the section below.

  1. I am very interested to see this fabled gaming tablet when it’s finally revealed this week. I don’t have any desire for one, but I didn’t think I would want an iPhone either until it was announced. Apple has a way of creating devices that you suddenly realize you NEED!

  2. I would really like to see more games with Mac support; one of my best friends from my hometown uses a Mac while I have a PC, so we have a lot of trouble finding games we can play online together. The trend of doing Mac releases really late or not at all for games just seems a little archaic to me.

  3. I’m sure the FF I & II games will look excellent on this.

  4. I demand that someone get me this for my birthday.

  5. I’m still an Apple skeptic, but the iPhone is just incredible, and is really proving itself as a viable gaming platform.

  6. I know right now that Apple is going to charge far too much for this product….which unfortunately will keep me away from it financially for probably…well, my whole life.

  7. Most expensive keyboard ever
