Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated shooting games of 2010, and it’s easy to see why. And now DICE have unveiled an all new game mode entitled Squad Deathmatch, along with a new map, right in the midst of the 300,000 player strong beta. Not that I’m bitter or anything, but an invite would have been nice.
Squad Deathmatch pits four squads of four players competing against each other, making for a more frantic and personal experience. When killed, the player can dive straight back into the action by spawning at a set location or on any squad mate’s current location.
You can view this new mode in all its glory in the video posted above. The next 3 months can’t go by fast enough for when the game is released on March 2nd in Americaland and March 5th in Europeland.
