Return to Ostagar

Bioware are sticking to their original promise of two years’ worth of downloadable content for Dragon Age: Origins by officially announcing that the latest instalment will be released next week.

Return to Ostagar will send players back to one of the first locations in the Dragon Age storyline in an effort to “reclaim the secrets lost on that battlefield”.

Bioware Edmonton’s VP, Aaryn Flynn, released the following statement:

“We are thrilled at the way the fans have embraced Dragon Age: Origins and we’re excited to welcome them back into the game. Return to Ostagar represents BioWare’s commitment to providing a steady stream of compelling post release content as we continue to expand the Dragon Age universe.”

The DLC will only set gamers back 400 MS Points, 400 Bioware Points, or US$4.99. Return to Ostagar will be released for PC and 360 on January 5, with a PS3 release estimated for later that month.

  1. I still have yet to play this game, and with ME2 coming out in less then a month, I doubt I will anytime soon. :-(

  2. Just play it you baby.

    This, Bayonetta, and Darksiders all out on the same day. I feel a sick day brewing!

  3. Ohh geez, just when I thought I’d have some free time.

  4. Love Dragon Age, but this doesn’t interest me.

    @Shawn
    Drop everything you’re playing and get in some Dragon Age time. It may even be better than ME2 will be.
