For all those Metal Gear Solid fanboys out there, now is the time to get just a little bit excited. The latest issue Japan’s premier gaming magazine, Famitsu, has announced the Japanese release date for Hideo Kojima’s impressive looking PSP game will be March 18, 2010.
No news yet of a US/EU release yet, but surely Konami won’t keep us Western folk waiting too long, will they?

Metal Gear releases tend to be out worldwide within a month of the Japanese release. But yeah the 9 minute trailer was awesome, Big Boss is my favorite character in this series so I’ll be picking it up.
I’m more psyched for MGS: Rising.
This game is one of the reasons I got a PSPgo, so I hope they set the US release date soon.
Releasing that close on FF13? Why? … That will most likely effect sales in Japan for them
I’m still flattered by the fact that Mr. Kojima found it more appropriate to release MGS 2 in the US before anywhere else.
