I always love seeing that header image, as it was taken right here in Austin, TX!

More on-topic, the success in zombie games so far has been driven by the visceral nature of the action and (let's be honest) the gore present in the visuals. Dead Rising and L4D thrive on the tension created by the combat, and I just don't see a MMO delivering that.

It is hard to say whether or not this will be successful, but its a interesting approach towards a mmo. If it was more pvp driven it could be cool to see a zombie side and a team to expel the zombies. Different quests to take out the leaders of the remaining human race and vice versa. I think the hardest thing with zombie games is a variety. The one thing I hated about L4D is the same ol' zombie one after another with only a handful of unique ones. Why not have like some crazy zombie who was a guy on steroids previously and goes nuts? Or like the military taken over by zombies and they still retain their skills. Hm..

"MMO loaded with... a whole lotta zombies, because the world doesn’t need more dragons." I think we've seen our fair share of zombies in the past decade, let's focus on vampires and Warewolves. I'm talking New Moon style.

"nothing says fun quite like doing it with your friends, whether online or on your couch." Awkward...

I think it could be pulled off. Whether it will or not will have to be seen. Create a huge world and throw in 3 ro 4 zombie mobs and randomly move to different zones while they're not in the zones you have to get quests and such, some quests maybe trying to rush into the zombie mob to kill a zombie who looks like someone famous. Other quests could be rescue kid from zombie invested abandoned hospitals. Then you got your normal quests. Only thing i can't figure out is how a leveling system would work in that idea. Scratch idea out...
