Ferahtsu:

The PS3 doesn't have wireless N, so this is actually a reasonable feature to add. It's very, very expensive though, especially compared to similar existing products.

Hahahaha. I miss the days of college. I rigged up an antenna on my roof that was right across the street from campus at VT. Two pringle cans and aluminum foil. Got perfect access to campus wifi :)

@ Curtis,

You do not need to pay for more antennas!

All you need is aluminium foil and some tape. hooray for D.I.Y.!

@ Kevin,

You are too right mate. I could never justify spending £60 on the official Xbox adapter, I decided to look around and found a nice Netgear game adapter.

It took me an hour and a half to set up, yet only £10 to purchase (£13 + postage), works just fine too.

If you have the G one already, there is absolutely no need to switch. I think M$ is hoping the ilinformed consumer will think this will decrease lag in their MW2 matches or make the internet faster. But that is so far from the truth.

Get this N adapter if you have issues with range or you stream music/movies from your PC to your 360. Or, be smart and save some money and do what I setup my brothers to do. Take your laptop (which if it is new has N) and share your wireless over ethernet.

Also, please don't get this thing if you don't have an N router. That would just be pointless.
