For all you PC owners out there who don’t yet own Mass Effect: your time has come.

You can now pick up the 20+ hour epic space opera for the reasonable price of $9.99. I was one of those gamers who was late to the draw and picked it up late, despite all the guff it got due to all it’s flaws, and was absolutely entranced by how engaging the narrative was. Log onto Steam, or just check it out here!

Mass Effect for the PC, the award-winning title from BioWare, is now available for 50% off on Steam. In other Steam/BioWare news this week, the developer’s latest title — Dragon Age: Origins — is launching via Steam and at retailers worldwide. For more information, please visit

  1. Do NOT pass up this deal. Mass Effect is simply phenominal. And if you like the combat system, play Dragon Age right after!

  2. That’s cheaper than I got it for, and mine was a used copy :O

  3. Never played the game. Is it worth it?

  4. Oh man, I’ve been wanting to play Mass Effect, and I think now is the time to get it. Damn you Chris! I have a handful of other games I need to try out.

  5. @ Komplex
It’s got a great storyline, but the combat and sidequests are a bit repetitive.

  6. Definitely worth $10 though (God I hate not being able to edit my comments)

  7. This has to be one of the best deals of all time in gaming. Simply unbelievable!

  8. I know I promised you I’d check this out Chris but I seriously don’t even have $10 right now. I will get this eventually though.
