Today Square Enix Europe officially announced that Kane & Lynch will receive a sequel, slated for released sometime in 2010. Developer of the first Kane & Lynch title, IO Interactive, will return for the sophomore effort, and this time they are bringing “a new visual experience … inspired by documentary filmmakers and the user-generated era.”.
Dubbed Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, players will take control of the titular duo as they work their way though the shady Shanghai underworld. To some of you this announcement may not come as that big of a surprise. Square Enix Europe has been releasing viral videos hinting at a sequel recently.
