I’m curious to know if anyone has actually ever “written home” about a game soundtrack. Maybe if they were on it? Maybe it would go something like this:

Dear Mom,

My band’s song, “MurderDeathKillFace” made it onto East India Company’s expansion! YEAH! Now you can listen to the soothing sounds of my life metal band Full Metal Jack-in-the-Box while privateering around the digital waters. Just thought you’d like to know that I’m doing a lot better since getting off the crack!

That loading screen is gone, I’m not sure if I made it very clear in the review sorry

The thing that turned me off about the original East India Company is the loading screen you get every time you go into a port. I could stomach it if the loading screen was only a second or so, but they take upwards of 20 seconds. When you’re going into ports fairly often.. it gets very, very annoying.

I won’t purchase another game in this franchise, expansion or not, until that issue is addressed, even if the gameplay is good.
