I think the problem is that people remember older games as being &quot;harder&quot; for some reason, so there&#039;s a lot of overcompensation on the difficulty side when these games get developed. It&#039;s not even necessarily that Contra ReBirth is hard, but it&#039;s definitely a LOT harder than the other early Contra games in terms of &quot;can you stay alive long enough to get through the level.&quot;</description>
