Mike Neumann, creative director on Borderlands (PC/X360), told VG247 in an interview that a sequel for Borderlands 2 is a possibility. He elaborated that there isn’t anything set in stone yet since they are working on the DLC for numero uno.
Neumann said, “Yes, I can probably confirm that there’s a chance of a Borderlands 2 [laughs]. I mean, with anything, especially a new IP, if people want more and you can make more, and everybody can make money and do good business there, it obviously makes really good sense to do that.”
Neumann might want a sequel, but do you faithful readers? Toss a couple comments below and tell us what you think!

Raise the level cap to something that’ll take more than a week of casual play to achieve.
It is great sense …. if they actually manage to fix all the annoying problems which plague the original.
It’d be worth it if they could make the game better than it is now….significantly. I’m not a fan of games that try to pass a sequel off without changing key aspects of the game…
I’m interested but it’s way too early to think about a sequel. Just support the game that is already out please.
We won’t be seeing Borderlands 2 for a little while. There is a planned series of DLC for the first one, and the Zombie Island doesn’t come out for another couple of weeks.
They had me hooked, now they’ll be reeling me in with a sequel. CURSES!
I havn’t bought the first one yet and there are so many games coming out that I want to get and they are talking about a sequel already. I dont get a game and finish it the same day like so many seem to do,I like getting some play time from my 60 bucks.
