In a new presentation video for Japanese audiences, Quantic Dream’s Guillaume de Fondaumiere discusses the upcoming Heavy Rain for Playstation 3 through an extended gameplay tour. The walkthrough focuses on the character of Ethan and his role in the unfolding story, so spoilers are inevitable.

Heavy Rain is one of the PS3′s most anticipated exclusive titles, which promises to be a uniquely cinematic and immersive console experience. The sheer scale of the production is touched on in the interview, revealing that a staggering 170 days of motion capture footage were shot, amounting to around 3 motion pictures.

Heavy Rain is scheduled for release sometime next year, but a confirmed date is said to be announced soon.

  1. I can’t tell you how much I wish this was coming to the 360! Looks stunning and a bit like a cross between Fahrenheit and Shenmue!

This game loosely reminds me of the first few Silent Hill titles. Maybe it’s because I perceive the Silent Hill gameplay to it’s full literal sense of fear. There’s no way this game can go wrong.

Hello everyone. Some peolpe say that positive things will make a differnce to the naysayers. It iwll not. The truth could be staring them straight in the face and it woul not make a difference. There are postive things out there. I read juck about haters screaming that they move their kids too much. But never the same comments directed to stars that go off to shoot movies and don’t see their families for months on end. Yet Brad and Angie who have worked hard to actually keep their family together get the negative. These peolpe have an agenda. And they stick to it no mater what. Best thing is that Brad and Angie don’t care and will not change how they live. That to me is the bese approach. I also think the haters hate the most that Brad and Angie are devoted to thier family and each other. Taking turns working. Something neither really did during their other relationships. So that is another thorn in their sides. But LOVE makes all the difference in how you see and move through life. Brad and Angie love each other and their family.Family.. the thing they only built together. That inlies the biggest dig to the haters above all else.
