Halo fans, still enjoying bragging rights, have recently been given more goodies to feed their addiction. Halo Waypoint, a central destination for all things Halo, has been detailed in full.

Previously announced over the summer, Halo Waypoint, developed by 343 Studios, Microsoft, and Certain Affinity, will provide Xbox Live Gold and Silver members a one-stop-shop for all things Halo starting November 5th. However, Silver members will only be granted access until November 26th.

The most intriguing feature is the career system, which will track achievements across Halo 3, Halo WarsHalo 3: ODST, and any DLC. Based on said achievements, awards will be “granted for earning groups of related Halo achievements.”

Is this something you can see yourself using come next month?

Update: Major Nelson announced via Twitter that Halo Waypoint will be available in the Xbox Live preview program being pushed out this week. Sign-ups for the preview program are ending today so be sure to do so if you have not already.

I absolutely do not see myself using this. While I do really enjoy playing Halo 3 and ODST, I don’t care enough to use something this Halo centric. I guess I could see the huge Halo fans getting into it though.

    Are you kidding me?

  3. I like the look of that, anything that brings information together in one zone is brilliant. :)

I still find it funny that most Halo fans aren’t even old enough to buy any of the games.
