Yeah, I do remember playing the original Obscure. It wasn't a terribly great game, but it was soooooooooooo fun multiplayer.

@Austin

The reason I couldn't bring myself to score it lower than a 6.5 was because co-op was done right. It is the way the game should be played in my opinion. I enjoyed the co-op I did with my brother a lot.

But, unfortunately, I also had to consider the other alternative of single player. AI control was acceptable and never took away from the gameplay. However, the lack of involved combat took away from the fun the game could provide should it have had an aiming system.

So it really depends how you would prefer to play the game. If you and a friend plan on playing it, it will be a 7.0-7.5. If you plan on playing by yourself, it will most likely be around a 5.5-6.0.

@Curtis

I definitely recommend it for PS2 over the PSP actually. Primarily because of price. You can find Obscure: The Aftermath for PS2 for about 20 bucks while the PSP port is 30 bucks.

I have to admit, I've never heard of this title. Despite the score, I'm a bit intrigued to pick it up on my PS2 and see how it pans out.
