Visage rules... cannot count the number of games I won with him... By the way, will Icefrog continue updating Dota if he joins Valve? We should thank him for all the time he put in to give us an excellent game!

Dear Vishal...
Do you really think Visage is a weak hero?
All you need, is the right item build and play him right.
But its true that he is kinda difficult to play for some newbies.

OK so Icefrog, the man who saved Warcraft III tanks to his tireless effort in constantly updating and refining DoTA, joins Valve?

Hi Blizzard? Did you maybe want to consider offering him a bigger sign-on bonus since he did keep Warcraft III popular only because of his work? What are you guys thinking?

Anyway good to know you have a team behind you Icefrog, hopefully they can help you balance overpowered characters right? You know like how you keep buffing Luna and Drow, but still keep Visage as the weakest hero in the game?

Yeah that's right, I love and hate you.

I've heard really weird things about League of Legends that make me wary of it (no denying creeps is one random thing that made me go "WTF?"), although I would rather not make judgments about it until I can give it a good try.

Heroes of Newerth isn't too unbalanced, but every time they make something new, it's either really weak or really strong for a long time. There are certain things that are way too strong in "Easy Mode" games like the ones we used to do for staff nights (MadMan for example is way too good in easy mode, but he's just fine in normal mode), but that's the case for DotA as well; Easy Mode wasn't made to be viable in a competitive setting. Still, I don't think it's better than DotA in terms of balance yet.

Haha, I was just talking about IceFrog the other day. What an awesome guy.

@Jamie
LoL is decently balanced. The HoN community also swears that their game is balanced as well.

I don't think any particular 'dota' game is particularly well-balanced in competitive play - not even DotA itself. However, DotA is probably the most balanced one. I'm curious to see what happens with the DotA developer making a commercial DotA game.
