Last week, a blog post on Capcom Unity accidentally revealed a list of five Capcom games headed to the PSN as well as their release dates.

Previously available only on UMD, the recent launch of the PSP-Go is likely the cause for these games being converted into the digital format.

The list of games to be released via the Playstation Network and their release dates are as follows:

  • October 8: Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Dark Tower
  • October 15: Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max
  • October 22: Capcom Puzzle World
  • October 29: Maverick Hunter X
  • November 5: Megaman Powered Up

While still missing the likes of Resident 1 + 2 and Dino Crisis, the remakes of Megaman and Street Fighter 3 are likely to captivate those who enjoyed the original Playstation 1 games. These games have not yet been priced, but previous UMD legacy games from Capcom have been $19.99, so expect these games to also be around the same mark.

  1. Capcom is taking their time with Dino Crisis because they realize it’s one of the best games ever released on the PS1, so they have to make sure the port is perfect.

  2. Dino Crisis and RE2! My two favorite PS1 Capcom games. Thankfully I have a BC PS3 though :)

HA i didn’t bother waiting a long time ago. Already beat Dino Crisis 1 and 2 on my PSP. Also got Rival Schools. Seems like Capcom is rather late with all of their games. Re-releases of RE5/SSF4? lame business plans
