sagatCapcom teased us with allusions to a sequel for Street Fighter IV, but shockingly, it doesn’t take the form of another videogame.  It officially takes the form of a controller?  I guess they ran out of syntax combinations of using “Hyper” and “Turbo.”

That’s right, MadCatz’s popular tournament style arcade sticks and six button gamepads are being called “Round 2″ and will be coming to a store near you.  The controllers are essentially identical to their predecessors, but now they come with an assortment of graphics.  The joysticks will feature a “slick, monochromatic paint job,” and the gameapads will feature some of the game’s more popular characters: M.Bison, C. Viper and Cammy to name a few.

The Mad Catz FightStick and gamepad will set you back $149.99 and $39.99 respectively.  To be perfectly honest, can you really put a price on a piece of videogaming history?

What I’m most concerned about, Neo, is game play and the ennige.NT never have been all about sophisticated, deep combat and game play heck in Enslaved the game told me throughout the whole affair how to jump, climb and toss Trip on ledges above Monkey -_-.Enslaved had performance issues on PS3 and that massive screen-tearing (I’m a PC/PS3 owner) annoyed the heck out of me.A fast paced action game like DMC will suffer severely on PS3. Frame rate drops and screen tearing are gonna kill the game for me and so far no developer except NetherRealm could deliver a UE3 powered game running at 60 fps w/o screen tearing on PS3.Why not letting NT use the vastly superior MT framework ennige for DmC is clearly beyond me.VN:F [1.9.17_1161](from 0 votes)
