With the combined powers of three gaming juggernauts, Wolfenstein RPG has finally made its way to the Apple AppStore. For those who haven’t been keeping tabs on the development, Wolfenstein RPG is based on the J2ME game developed by ID Software, remade by FireMint, and then was just published to the AppStore by Electronic Arts.

Considering it took three companies to release, it still has the quite reasonable price of $5.00 USD, $5.99 AUD. I’ve had the pleasure of playing about an hour, and it’s definitely looking like one of the most solid games on the iPhone. My only complaints are that strafing is a bit tricky, there isn’t any character customization, and the controls can be a bit slippery when navigating winding tunnels.
Nonetheless, if you are Wolfenstein fan, and have a few bucks to spare it’s worth a gander.
