From the time of announcement until the date of confirmation people will continue to speculate on all of the song that might be contained inside the upcoming Beatles Rock Band. A lot of the early predictions have been accurate, but perhaps Game Informer will shine the light on all that has been guessed upon.

We’ve yet to see a phsyical copy of the latest issue, so it’s marked rumor for now. Needless to say, if it is correct? There will be a lot of happy fans come September 9th. Hit the jump for the rumored list and we’ll be sure and let you know when it is confirmed.

R.I.P. PSW
By: | August 13th, 2009
Fellow readers from Englandland may be sad to hear that the independant Playstation magazine PSW is no more. Spanning a total of issues, PSW was killed after “decreased demand” took its toll. One staff member has already been redeployed however, with four others currently in consulation for new roles.
Since I own a complete collection of every official Playstation magazine that has ever been published, I always find it depressing to see gaming magazines going under. And yet, with the immediacy of the Internet on demand, this feels somewhat invetible, sadly.
It certainly makes you wonder – is this a sign of things to come, or will print gaming journalism forever hold a place in your heart?

It’s Thursday, and you know what that means. Yes it’s nearly Friday, but it’s also the time where the lone Sony man presses the launch button that adds a truck load of content onto the PSN Store, before he triumphantly trundles off home. Or at least that’s how I like to think it works.

This week’s update is for fighting fans, as it sees the launch of the anticipated Marvel vs Capcom 2. For everyone else, there is a good supply of DLC including a new pack for Red Faction: Guerilla, along with a playable demo for the Western inspired Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood.

As always, this week’s update can be found in full after the break.

Onxya

Today Blizzard announced that, in honor of World of Warcraft‘s fifth anniversary, the classic raid boss Onyxia will make a triumphant return.

Back in the day before Wrath of the Lich King and The Burning Crusade, Onxyia was one of the most feared bosses. In order to make the once dreaded boss a challenge to veteran players, Blizzard is converting Onxyia’s dungeon into a 10 player normal raid and a 25 player Heroic raid. The new dungeon is designed to offer a challenge to level 80 players dressed in tier 9 gear. Read more… »

With so many recent rumors flying around the internet about Sony announcing the PS3 Slim at next week’s Cologne Gamescom, it’s hard not to sit up and pay attention.  According to a deluge of “industry insiders”, the new compact system will finally usher in the oh-so-important price cut that everyone has been screaming for.

The general consensus seems to be that a lower price point is exactly what Sony needs to reinvigorate the system and bring in more sales, but I think these people are missing the big picture. Read more… »

dissidiademo3

To my own amazement, the Dissidia demo hit PlayStation Network at the end of June, and somehow missed my attention for almost two weeks (that’s what finally starting Mass Effect does to you). Needless to say, the moment my eyes found the PSP demo available my bandwidth immediately went towards downloading 76 megabytes of glorious fan service.

While Dissidia has been available in Japan for a while now, and others, including Gamer Limit’s own Christoper Matulich and Chris Carter, have demoed the game via E3 and other similar conventions, this demo was my first hands-on experience with the game. Find out more about Dissidia after the jump.

New Sega teaser site!

segalogo

Another day, another new teaser site. This time, our teaser du jour is Sega, but the strangest thing is how nondescript the site is.

However, even though isn’t much to speculate on, what little is there is to wonder about is pretty exciting.
