WOW! I'm sorry I got here into this riveting rcsveonation so late! Become considering this used to be simply every other piece about Danny Boyle and Slumdog Millionaire. Goes to show never ever suppose anything else.Anirudhya Nice piece! So brief and yet so insightful and to the point. I have to assert I've been a very good admirer of SM together with thousands and thousands of others but you have got given me an perception that I by no means regarded as. Its a national delight that I believe strongly about my own country. It at last sank in, how a foreigner picked on India in a way Like those that say I can discuss s**t about my mother but when another person does, god help them!!Anyway, almost about the brief movie, call me a prude, call me outdated usual, name me all kinds of conservative names within the e book, regardless that I know this sort of scum exist within the world, I DONT want to watch it in my movies. I believe the brief film became a very poor choice. But to Mr. Boyles defense, and as Mr. Kashyap points out, he most probably had very little to choose from. There seldom are great shorts about India which cope with anything aside from squalor and poverty

Wow this is a great article. But there is still smitehong that I haven’t been able to make sense of.In using different shaders, do you have to choose between DirectX and OpenGL? I read that DirectX10 has Shader Model 4.0 now! But can OpenGL can use the same shaders?Because I know DirectX keeps changing version numbers to support more shaders and upgrades obviously, but I don’t see different versions of OpenGL.

This game is so unbelievably addictive. You must play it to understand it. It's like Team Fortress 2 and Zelda had a baby and that baby was force-fed a sh** load of cake... or something. Anyways, it is absolutely fantastic and I haven't been able to play anything else since I got it. The cake isn't a lie this time game-geeks! Now you really can have your cake and eat it 2!

Seriously though, BRILLIANT. The more you play it the more you figure out about it and the more FREAKING BRILLIANT you realize it is! Then you get better and better and people start realizing how to coordinate as a team and things really start to take off! This is seriously a game that will just get better with age and more fun every time you play. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for anyone who has great taste in video games!

The connection issues aren't all that bad, as long as you have a NAT 3 router and search for a game about 3 times.
Seriously, it should work after one or two attempts, three at most.

And once you are in, the game doesn't lag very often and you don't get disconnected unless the host leaves.

Overall this game is worth more than $15 and, with the upcoming patch, it should work perfectly soon.

@ Jeff - I agree the connectivity issues are problematic, but apparently Titan Studios are currently working on that. I feel reviewers should wait until they've sorted out these problems before passing judgement - look at Battlefield 1943; loads of critics loved that game, and yet it was riddled with connection problems. Overall, Fat Princess is a fantastic game when it is considered holistically. For example, fighting as a knight alone is really repetitive and dull, and yet, attempting to thwart an enemy attack through a combination of building defences, upgrading the castle, firing hails of arrows and healing fellow comrades is a real blast. In truth, the brilliance of Fat Princess can only truly be captured when everyone is working as a team in the 'Princess' game modes, as the combat and other aspects when considered alone make the game seem fairly shallow.

Bought the game, and this review is completly wrong, for a game which relies on multiplayer - campaign is a tutorial! - not being able to join a *single* game can not warrant any game a 9.3!
