Attorneys for Activision notified the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, that Double Fine Productions (DFP) and Activision have settled their differences over game-in-dispute Brutal Legend. Despite the tug of war match that’s been ensuing for the past few months, we’ll finally see an end to the lawsuit.

Initially suing the developers to prevent the game’s impending October release date, Activision was then counter sued by DFP who claimed that the publishers had, in fact, terminated its agreement to release the game after numerous disagreements with which direction the game’s future would take.

Brutal Legend is scheduled for release later this year on October 16 for both Microsoft and Sony’s home consoles.
