Today Treyarch announced that it is working on a third map pack for Call of Duty: World at War on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Due out August, the map pack will contain three new multiplayer maps, Battery, Revolution and Breach, as well as a new Nazi Zombie map called Der Riese, which translates to “The Giant”. Hopefully this means that there is some giant zombie or new type of undead or something. I’m getting sick of shooting the same slow ghouls game after game.
Although no price was announced, I feel safe in assuming that “Map Pack 3″ will retail for $10 like the other two. Treyarch didn’t mention if “Map Pack 3″ would be hitting the PC, but considering they just release “Map Pack 2″ on the PC last week with the 1.5 update, I can almost guarantee that it will make an appearance.

Not like COD4 were there was only one Map pack… COD WAW never gets boring and I think I will probably still play it when Modern Warfare 2 comes out. I was comparing trophies with a friend of mine, and under all the shi no numa trophies, there is a lot more trophies that say “(Map Pack 3 Only)” and the trophies include new things like the “Monkey Bomb” and Teleport Pads, as well as a new knife, and something called Fly Trap. There is also something called Pack-A-Punch, which can be used to upgrade weapons!
And btw, Der Riese was a secret experimental weapons facility used by the nazis in the polish mountains.

Other addition: Bowie Knife, a large knife twice or 3 times as large as regular. a 1 hit kill until rounds 15 or 16 about. It costs 3000 points.

If anyone has every turned on the 3 radios in the beginning of shi no numa and actually listened…this guy could actually be making sense because the radio actually spoke of some kind of huge experiment gone wrong….and just in case you don’t know where the 3 radios in the beginning are….as soon as the game starts there is on in the middle where the bookshelf is on the top shelf….next is either left or right go to either window at the end and turn around it would be in front of you…same with the last…just go to the opposite side of where the second was to the window then turn around it will be there….you need to hit what ever button is your reload or use button…..there will be no prompt to do so though after thats all done just listen and you will see why this guy could be making sense

I think that in map pack 3 they should make the power ups selectable with the directional pad on 360 and PS3. so u can choose when to use it.

Most upgraded weapons have increased damage and ammo cap, ammo is replaced for the gun when u use. It costs 5000 to upgrade gun but u need to open 3 teleports first.

Actually, the PC server is faster or slower depending on the users internet connection, and there have been no virus or any problems that I can see, and I play a lot (probably too much).
Can’t wait to get it for free, but there is no word yet on when it will be out for PC. Annoying!
